What can you do with a photo collage?

One of my favorite things to do with pictures is make photo collages. I make them for pretty much every holiday and birthday and most of the the time for no reason at all. Sometimes they are really nice, sweet pictures of my kids. At other times I put together a bunch of funny, goofy photos of them in a silly mood. If you haven't ever thought about giving a photo collage, or making one for yourself, here are some of my favorite reasons to make a collage:

• To put together all of the really great pictures from a birthday. For example, pictures of your child eating his/her first cake, or older kids with friends at their birthday parties.
  
• As a Mother's Day or Father's Day gift. Grandparents love pictures of their grandchildren. Send them a framed photo collage and they will be thrilled!
  
• To keep together all of your favorite pictures of your child as he/she has grown. You can make a first year or fifth year collage or a collage when your child goes to college.
  
  

• As an adult milestone birthday gift or as part of the celebration. Putting together pictures of your dad through the years could be a gift for him, or used as part of the decorations for his birthday party.
  
  


• As a gift for a teacher or coach. Putting together your favorite pictures of your child with his/her football coach or teacher is a fantastic way to thank them for the time they have given to your child.
• To give as cards for birthdays or any other occasion.
• To help keep track of your child as he/she grows as a part of a baby book. I often put together pictures from a holiday in a collage, which I keep in my children's baby books to remember that year's holiday.
• To keep on your wall (or refridgerator) to make you smile!
