New initial cards

Here are a couple of examples of the new initial photo cards I have just added to Smiles Across Miles Cards. Above is a photo invitation and below is a photo birth announcement. These were inspired by my four year old son who is just learning how to write words. He loves it whenever he finds a word that has one of the letters of his name in it. I thought a birthday invitation with his initial on it would be right up his alley! Remember, these cards can be customized in any way that you like (just like all of the cards on the site). If you don't like the initial idea you can always change the letter to your child's age for an invitation or to a tree or snowflake on a holiday card. In addition to the two cards in this post I also added a girl birth announcement, girl birthday invitation, and holiday card with same initial theme. I'd love for you to check them out!

Welcome to the Smiles Across Miles Blog!

I will be learning as I go with this blog, so bear with me! Here is a little bit of information about me. I am a work at home mom of three young kids (4,2, 4 months). I love photography and take a ton of pictures of my kids. My husband and I have moved quite a few times since we have been married and live far away from our families. Because of this, I try to send photos to loved ones as much as possible to keep them up-to-date with how our kids are growing. As I started looking around for photo cards, they were always too expensive or required me to buy too many. Instead, I learned how to to it myself and for friends and loved ones. I decided to start a website, as I figured that there must be others out there looking for high quality cards at an affordable price. This was the beginning of Smiles Across Miles, Inc.

My goal with this blog is to showcase new cards added to the site, host giveaways and give discounts and anything else that I can think of along the way. I am always up for hearing suggestions, or comments about what products people like or would like to see added.
